This wool scarf is made from fabric produced by Claridges Mill, which no longer exists but used to be in Selkirk in the Scottish Borders. The mill used to produce fabric for the top fashion houses worldwide, including Ralph Lauren, Chanel and Louis Vuitton. The Venice backing silk is from the excess silk printed when our City on Cloth scarves are made.
The scarf is 24 x 150 cm and has a silky feel to the wool.
